Construction Renovation

49 Worcester Road, Parkwood, Johannesburg.

We were appointed as the Main Contractor on this project, responsible for managing all aspects of the construction process.

The scope of work included a full gut and renovation of this 4-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom home. Key elements involved opening up the living area and installing structural I-beams to support a new, expansive patio featuring skylights and large folding stacking door. Existing timber windows and doors were replaced with a combination of new timber and aluminium units. Approximately half of the roof sheeting was replaced, while the remaining surfaces were repainted.

New insulated lightweight ‘dry’ slabs were installed in extended areas, complemented by flush plastered ceilings and elegant shadowline cornices. Additional spaces were added or reconfigured, including a new dressing room, passage, main bathroom, guest WC, and laundry.

The interior received high-end finishes throughout, with vinyl flooring extending into some bathrooms, detailed wall tiling with recessed niches, and beach-entry shower floors. Every element was completed to a luxurious, high standard.
